-Canon updates, in general, are allowed and only require one week waiting period so long as you are playing the same character with the addition of canon experiences. Please notify us here through the canon update process when relevant. No one else may app the same character during this time.
If this is what you are looking to do, with the update, no worries, nothing special needs to be done

-During general character death, in general, your spot is not held in-game during the one-month waiting period. Other players may app the character during that time. Any version accepted after the death will have to start from square one as a different universe's version of that character. We may make reserving your character during a death month and maintaining your memories rewards with a player's reward points.
